We are using Oracle Clusterware 10.2.0.2 to cluster our two SuSE10.1 boxes. The Database(10.2.0.2) is installed in a stand-alone mode. The protocol used is Fibre Channel. Oracle clusterware is installed locally on both nodes. We are using ocfs2 to mount the file systems and NetApp for the storage. At present, all the services are running on node 1.Now, we have added an additional Fibre Channel LUN and rescanned the luns(by running the command ./opt/netapp/santools/qla2xxx_lun_rescan) on the second node. My question is, will rebooting the second node cause any issues to the existing cluster? Will the device names change on
reboot?
