Hi all. This is sriram.....first of all,please ignore if any mistakes..am not a native speaker.if any format mistakes...i will correct by next message....so let me know if any.. I AM new to my job DBA(FRESHER).Is there any easy method to understand DB...i mean..i want to know, if anyone did any DML i will create one trigger to know which one is modified.....BUT my problem is i have 1000 tables...so is there any way to find directly...find changes made into those tables... (affected tables)

as i posted before that i do not know really how to post the question.i just used those dots(...) to ask the forum without any confusion,but based on those you are simply blaming pointing me on my mistakes.i have seen your previous messages also.but those are in good way.my institute environment is totally different from my company environment that is why i raised that question. without having real experiance no one is best.

If I understood you correctly, perhaps you'd want to enable auditing (instead of writing a trigger per table (having in mind that there are far too many of them).

Auditing is fine.but Why i posted this query is to know & learn like we can create one trigger to record the sql-DDL statements on both schema & database level into a table,in same way we can record the DML changes only on purticular table.so my qyestion is --is it possible to write the dml trigger at schema level ? based on the documentation,i learned it is not possible,but because of my curiosity i am asking.
