You can use a JDBC Thin Driver.

I don't use TOAD, search in its documentation to see if it supports JDBC Thin driver.
Otherwise use SQL Developer.

i tried with few free toads and every thing says use commercial version since feature is not available and also displays water marked pages. I saw one of my friend using toad from client environment and i do not know whether it is JDBC thick or thin.
Michel,
can you suggest me a free toad site and also like to ask one more question. Is these toads can be called as UML Tool or similar to UML Tool. if not, what way it differs from UML tool?

sorry for my deviation of topic just a quest
yours

TOAD has nothing to do with UML.
TOAD is just a GUI tool to work with databases.
UML is a modeling language.
