Hi Forum

While planing to install Oracle Onames for Oracle 10.2.0.3, I found a note stating

" Oracle names is no longer supported as a naming method in Oracle database 10g. You must migrate to Directory naming.

Can anyone please confirm that Onames are not supported by oracle 10g & is this directory naming ldap.

Thanks in advance,
Bhaktawar

Correct. Names Server is no longer support in 10g. Check Unsupported Control Utility Commands.
