I have an Oracle 10G Training CBT on DVD Administration I & II that I used for studying for my OCP exams. If you are interested I will sell it to you. I found it very helpful. It has practice exams.

Check your license to know if you are allowed to sell them, I bet this is not the case, you just have bought the right to use them not to sell them.

This is not from Oracle university but from an Book that included this CD to be used for the OCP exams.

I bought the book with the CD. I no longer can find the book but I found the CD and thought the guy might be interested in it.

I have bought many books in the past to resell them later.

Concerning the CD I found one of mines, the license terms says:

Quote:
Customer shall have the right to use the content...
Customer may make one copy for backup... No other copies shall be made without Oracle's prior written consent...
Customer shall not: (a)... (c) transfer, sell, assign or otherwise convey the content to another party without Oracle's prior written consent...

I think this is clear.

Regards
Michel

You bought the book. The book is yours. You have the right to resell the book at any time. The CD simply accompanies the book. There is no issue with this at all.

If you lost the book, so what, it is of no consequence. You are free to sell him the book with accompanying CD even though you no longer have the book. Just make sure you do not break any of the laws of your government by sending the CD to someplace it is not allowed to go. To me this means stays inside the country it was originally purchased in and you have no issue there.

Not being able to resell a book just because it was distrubuted with a CD is against my right of reasonable use and any clauses meant to stop me from reselling the book with its accompanying CD are not enforcable.

Consider for example that if same was not legal, then colleges everywhere are breaking the law when they buy back such books used in college courses. You know, the book you paid 50 dollars for that you sold back to the college book store for 2 dollars so that they could sell it to someone else in the comming semester for 50 dollars again. What a racket.

Just to keep me safe, I am not a lawyer so do not construe this as legal advice.
