Hi,
We have 3 node oracle 10.2.0.3 RAC database on HP-UX. We are using ASM for the database except for archive logs. Archive logs are in file system (NAS) and is visible to all nodes. Now we want to move the archive location to ASM. Can someone through some light on how to do this?
Thanks

Nothing special here with ASM. The same principles apply.

Just specify an ASM destination.

Thanks, but after change the archive_log_location to ASM I will have to run a full backup right? how RMAN takes care of archive log backup? do I need to do anything specific since now the archivelogs are going to be in ASM?

Nothing is required.
Once you bounce the database, RMAN will know where to find it.
As usual, use a separate disk for archivelogs within ASM.
