Hi everybody !

Is it possible to grant a user a percentage amount of a specified tablespace ?

for instance granting a user called userx 5% of USERS tablespace. How can I do that ?

ALTER USER ... QUOTA ... ON TABLESPACE ...

You cannot give a percentage, just a number of bytes.

Thank you very much guys
I'm sorry if I broke any rules in this form, but the reason I'm asking this beginner question is that I was told by an instructor in the college that I can grant a percentage quota besides setting an unlimited space and limited amount of bytes. Looks like his information need to be updated.
