Hi all
I have Oracle9i Enterprise Edition Release 9.0.1.1.1 in my machine and i want to connect it with Microstrategy 9 but in order to connect I have to install Oracle 9iR2 data ware or newer version, now i am so confused that how can i get it my required version, please also tell me if i install oracle 11g does it work?. Thanks

I guess that 9i software is no longer available for download, so you'll most probably have to contact Oracle.

On the other hand, I have no idea whether 11g version would work or not. You said that you should install "9iR2 data ware" or newer (and 11g IS newer than 9i), so I *suppose* it would be OK. What does the "Microstrategy 9" documentation say?

OK, that's what you already said (and I replied that, as 11g is newer than 9i, it probably would work).

Thanks for the reply, actually i thought that R2 dataware and Oracle 11g are totally different products of oracle, i will try to install 11g and let you know the exact situation. Thanks
