Hi,

Want to know whether OLAP option should be used if the database is supporting applications like ORACLE IOP. Is there any advantage if we enable OLAP option considerting the application ORACLE IOP needs to analyse millions of records ?

Our database is not configured to use OLAP option, should we change it to use OLAP feature. Should we recreate the tables and other objects to use the OLAP features ?

Thanks,

Ninan.

Remember that OLAP is US$23000 per CPU, on top of enterprise edition licences.

Hi,

It did'nt answer the original question. I thought OLAP comes along with Oracle 11g enterprise edition.

Thanks,
