HI All,

The description for Event ID ( 20 ) in Source ( Oracle.sitename ) cannot be found. The local computer may not have the necessary registry information or message DLL files to display messages from a remote computer. You may be able to use the /AUXSOURCE= flag to retrieve this description; see Help and Support for details. The following information is part of the event: Site-name; ARC1: Beginning to archive log 4 thread 1 sequence 408
(1.810424761:1.811117685)

What is the reason??

Regards

Is it an Error, a Warning or a Message? If it's only a Message then "Beginning to archive log 4 thread 1 sequence 408" looks like it just logged the archiving of a archive log.

You can also look in the log locally on the machine. (Where the description/messages should be installed for the event log.)
