Hi,

What is the difference between Data Guard and Replication?
In both , one copy of primary database is in the secondary database,so what is the difference?

There are many other replication ways than data guard.

Some points to consider:
Should the entire database be replicated, or only certain tables?
Should the replication be bi-directional?
How quickly should the replication occur?
Why do you want to replicate?
If you think about questions such as this, you'll see that the different techniques suit different objectives.
