Hi
What is the use of db parameter "remote_os_roles" and "os_roles " and how they are different ?

Me created OS Authenticated external user. Me changing "remote_os_roles" to TRUE or FALSE do not have any effect in connecting to the database.

Thanks
Siva

OS_ROLES refers to local server roles.
REMOTE_OS_ROLES refers to remote platforms.

REMOTE_OS_ROLES should ALWAYS be set to FALSE.

Setting the parameter has no effect by itself. You also need to create the roles in the database and the groups in the operating system, conforming to the correct naming convention.
