What are the experts doing about Windows 10 pro lack of SMTP server? I want to use UTL_SMTP but it requires an SMTP Server which is not readily available in Windows 10 pro (my home machine). I've done this successfully at work but work already has SMTP server.

The lack of SMTP Server is NOT an Oracle problem.
Why should it be Oracle's responsibility to establish an SMTP Server?
Nothing prevents you from installing SMTP Service any where you desire & require it to exist.

You might look into installing either Microsoft Outlook or Google Gmail.

While IIS is not available on windows home, you can easly find a version of sendmail for windows and it will take care of your smtp needs with no problems.

Can you not use the gmail or yahoo email servers? Much easier than installing your own if you need to relay to external addresses.
