Here's the problem:

Client initiates a connection to the server on port 1521, then the server redirects, or rolls, the connection to different ports. For Example: if the redirection goes to port 2091, the subsequent connections from the SAME workstation increment to 2091, 2092, etc. This is ok on a LAN, but disasterous on a WAN.  Some have said this may also be caused by the client, but I can't be sure of this.  This is a RED flag item for us and any input would be really helpful. - Thanks, Susan
