Hi ,

We are planning using Oracle streams over two different operating systems .One Os would be

TRU64 Aplha--backup and recovery system

Oracle version 9.2.0.2

Another one

Linux---- main oracle database

Oracle versiob 9.2.0.2

Is this possible and How ??

Yes you can.
I have streams replication between two databases. Source on Solaris and Destination on Linux. Both are version 9.2.0.4 with a mega patch for bug fix for some of the critical bugs in Streams. You could go with 9.2.0.5.
