I have an Oracle related issue. The problem was identified past weekend when importing data to SQC DB server.Errors occurred during the data loading, actually same error on different "create index" statements.
Error >>
IMP-00003: ORACLE error 439 encountered
ORA-00439: feature not enabled: Function-based indexes

Sir i am using Oracle 8.1.7

Sir please have a solution to this.

Query V$option table and see whether the 'Function-Based Indexes' is installed or not.

Try this

Grant QUERY REWRITE privilege to the user.
Make sure that parameter
query_rewrite_enabled is TRUE and
query_rewrite_integrity is 'TRUSTED'
