Greetings,
I have downloaded the Oracle 10g client for Windows. I want to compile some c programs that I am migrating from another DB platform. It would be helpful to be able to look at the programs that are supposed to be in the ..\precomp\demo folder, but they are not there. The Oracle Universal Installer says that I have installed every option. The docs (http://download-east.oracle.com/docs/cd/B19306_01/win.102/b14321/intro.htm#sthref29) say that I should have the following directories under the precomp directory:
  1. Admin
  2. doc
  3. demo
  4. help
  5. lib
  6. mesg
  7. misc
  8. public

However, my installation does not have the demo nor the misc directories. The precompiler is working fine for me. I'd like to have the demo directory to look at the make files for linking purposes. Any idea how to obtain the demo directory?

Thanks,

Terry
