Hi,

In CPUAPR07 patch readme doc, under the heading "OPatch Utility Information" it's given that we've to check for "Conflicts with other patches" and Conflicts with subset patches (existing patch is a subset of the patch being installed) Prior to the patch installation. What does it mean & how we've to do this checking?

Thanks...

It means that Oracle does check if CPUApr2007 (or any CPU) does not conflict with other patches and you have to do it.
It means you have to apply this patch on a test database to check if every thing is OK before applying it on your production.

There is nothing from Oracle.
You have to test it by yourself.

If opatch fails half way, it rolls back what it has done.

To check manually: apply patch then execute your application and see if some problem occurs.
