Try to copy/paste this "http://localhost/isqlplus" in your browser. If you still have a problem, go to Oracle forums- http://www.oracle.com/forums/

Your suggestion, although commendable, resulted in the same bottleneck. The only time I have even gotten close to Isqlplus was by using this URL=http://LocalHost:8080 (with or without the / at the end). It brings up a login box for scott/tiger, change over to the isqlplus page, allow user to input DML statements, press execute, AND IT STATES THAT IT HAS TIMED-OUT, and ask you to repeat the login process, but it is still in the time-out state.
Go figure???
I have a Dell Dimension 4400 w/256mb of sdram, 80 gig of hard drive, but the apache error_log fills up within a day. I have been unable to debug the xml.log because I cannot connect to isqlplus.
