Hi Dear

I m using oracle 10.1.0.2.0 on linux. While i m trying to connect the database from client it shows no listener TNS - 12541.

Howevery if i m checking the status of listener on server it shows.

I don't believe you. Show us a cut and paste of your session from the time you enter the fist command through the appearance of the error.

Compare this parameter (PORT = 1521) In youe LISTENER.ORA and TNSNAMES.ORA weather THEY ARE SAME
