HI,
I installed the oracle 10g server. onlt the basic instalation.
1. created the ORACLE_SID , window service.
2. reated instance and databse manually.
3. reated all the table space, users , objects manully.
4. ow i run some insert stsatements.
all this is working fine from the server machine or if i am connecting thru any client to this server. Everything works proper.
The problem comes when i restart the services . now i am not able to connect to oracle any more . when i am logging in to the oracle by username/password@tnsname this is giving error as:
ORA-12514: TNS:listener does not currently know of service requested in connect descriptor .
i am also not able to login as sys as sysdba.
How could i resolve the problem.Please help me out.
