hi all.
this is how my problem looks like:

i was using TOAD 8.5 with no problems...
i installed TOAD for Oracle version 9.0.0.160, and i get this message: "you have no Oracle client installed".
i have tried to uninstall/install back the Oracle client, Toad also, but I have the same error.

any idea?

You didn't correctly install one or the two products.
Deinstall both and restart with Oracle client.
