I am really a newbie, so don`t laugh.....
I`m hosting my site at www.friendlier.com , but on my home pc I want to try oracle. So, can I convert somehow MySQL dbz into Oracle?

Yes you can but you have to change more than the SQL.
Both database work differently, especially on concurrency and locking methods, so application has to be changed.

Oracle's free SQL Developer tool comes with a product called Migration Workbench that includes MySQL as one of the Dbs it can migrate from.
