Hai all,
In report if i enter any parameter value(in text box) that does not match any records,i should get an error message like,
"Invalid Customer Name...." and also kindly tell me how to stop the generation of report once the error message displays.

Thanks & Regards,
S.Nisha

Validate parameter's value in the AFTER PARAMETER FORM trigger.
Raise an error using the SRW.PROGRAM_ABORT built-in.

How would YOU validate parameter's value? Use pure (PL/)SQL (forget about triggers), or you can write a pseudo-code if you wish. Just don't open your mouth and say "Feed me! Feed me!".
