hello
i have created a tablespace that does not autoextend and i specified that at 80% i should get a warning
i created a table in this tablespace and inserted records
millions of records
but didnt get the warning yet
i am wondering whats is the schedule of collection for metrics of such warning?
i mean ill get the warning within a window of 30 minutes or 5 minutes;
can i edit such collection?
database 10g on windows 2003

Hi,
YOu configure EM notification if yes then you have to also configure following metric.
1. Critical
2. Warning
3. Clear

Open OEM page click on all metric on main page then select tablespace metric and define above three metric and proper configure em notification then you will get email warnings.

everything is fine
the warning is displayed,
but i need to know how much time it needs to discover that a tablespace is full ?
how often this check is performed
and if i can change it

Hi,

For that you have to set below Severity.
1. Critical
2. Warnings
3. Clear
