We are converting an application based in developer 6i to developer 10g. We have successfully run reports with a parameter form, but the method we have applied requires some coding in both forms (that call such reports) and reports. Is there any method which does not require coding (or any other modification) on the report side.

Your cooperation will be highly appreciated

What kind of coding?

If you used RUN_REPORT_OBJECT, it is suggested to use WEB.SHOW_DOCUMENT instead (if that's what you are talking about).

I am using WEB.SHOW_DOCUMENT for calling reports. The document that I followed says that after the coding required in forms, you also have to write a Before_Param_form trigger & add 3 user parameters in the called report, in order to make it work. If I do not add these things in report, "parameter form format error" message is generated when I press 'Submit Query' Button.

I am attaching the document.. (You can see Page No 28,29,30)
