Hi Guys,
I have this DST patch( 6672979)which i needed to apply,the metalink note:549825.1 says

but readme for the patch say to use opatch utility for this one,so confusion is which method should i opt for?Please any inputs would be great.

WHEN YOU HAVE EXTRACTED THE FILES CONTAIN IN THE PATH FILE, YOU MUST EXECUTE THE FOLLOWING:
cd directory_pathc
ensure that the opath executable is in the PATH
export PATH=$PATH:$ORACLE_HOME/Opatch
for apply
opatch apply
if you apply and after you have problems
opatch rollback
